In my growing list of school profiles on About.com, I recently took a look at the University of Massachusetts Online. This highly regarded online school offers dozens of bachelor's and master's degrees. As well as a handful of certificate programs. Here's a blurb from the profile:

"The University of Massachusetts Online offers virtual degree programs from respected and established traditional colleges. Students can enroll in online classes from University of Massachusetts campuses such as Dartmouth, Amherst, Boston, Lowell, and Worcester. Many online programs can be completed with no residency."

One of UMassOnline's most interesting policies is that they allow students to enroll in online classes before gaining admission to a program - an interesting way to "try before you buy." Check out the profile to learn about online degrees offered, tuition costs, and other essential information.
