Traditional universities are beginning to recognize the usefulness of online learning. Case in point: Bellevue University recently announced the creation of a new bachelor's degree program that integrates online and traditional learning components:

"Called 'C3: New Century Degree Program,' or 'C3' for short, the program combines three learning components: classroom participation on campus; access to BU's exclusive Cyber-Active® Learning platform, with 24/7 online library resources; and career/work experience, which is a requirement of the program."
