Blogging to Pay Online School Tuition
Filed in archive Funding your education by Jamie Littlefield on August 10, 2007

I recently came across a rather ingenious student who is paying for his online classes by running a blog.
David Buksbaum's online college blog, On the Web Ed, discusses his experiences with online education as well as advice for potential virtual students. Here's how he describes it:
"I want to share what I have learned about online education. I want to challenge schools to provide more current and detailed information. I want to challenge anyone that had a dream for a degree, of any level, to go get it. To that end, I have started this site. Not everyone can fund their education by blogging, but his smart idea just may help out other virtual learners along the way. Check it out here: On the Web Ed - Paying for My Virtual Education One Click at a Time.
Now for a bit of reality and shameless self-interest. School can be expensive. I am hoping that with the ads on this site, I will be able to cover my school expenses."
