Blogging to Pay Online School Tuition
Attending a quality online college can cost tens of thousands. Some students take out hefty federal loans, others wait until they've achieved some level of career success before enrolling.

I recently came across a rather ingenious student who is paying for his online classes by running a blog.

David Buksbaum's online college blog, On the Web Ed, discusses his experiences with online education as well as advice for potential virtual students. Here's how he describes it:
"I want to share what I have learned about online education. I want to challenge schools to provide more current and detailed information. I want to challenge anyone that had a dream for a degree, of any level, to go get it. To that end, I have started this site.

Now for a bit of reality and shameless self-interest. School can be expensive. I am hoping that with the ads on this site, I will be able to cover my school expenses."
Not everyone can fund their education by blogging, but his smart idea just may help out other virtual learners along the way. Check it out here: On the Web Ed - Paying for My Virtual Education One Click at a Time.

"Excellent post. I totally agree that it is the content and presentation skills of the educator that will make or break an online learning event, not the technology."
