College Grads See Higher Salaries This Year

If you're looking for another reason to earn that online degree consider this: college graduates are seeing higher salaries this year. According to a new article from CNN Money, salaries are on the rise for graduates in all fields. Here's a blurb:

"Nearly nine out of 10 employers reported that they're seeing more competition for new college graduates than in past years, according to a study by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE)…The results suggest that the increased hiring is translating directly into higher average starting salary offers."

Even liberal arts majors are seeing an increase in salary from last year. This year the average salary for English majors rose 5.3 percent and the average salary for political science majors rose 5.9 percent.
