College Scholarships...for Bloggers
I came across a rather unique scholarship fund today. CollegeScholarships.org is giving a $10,000 award to a college student that blogs. Here's a blurb about their Blogging Scholarship:
"At college scholarshipslinks.org we believe that everyone deserves a shot at a decent education. And we love bloggers. Not for the least of reasons, because we blog, and one of the founders of this site makes a living as a blogger.

We believe passion is important. As the world gets more competitive, those who are passionate about what they do, and work close to their passions, will be able to become and stay successful even as technology and automation eat away at many business models. Those who are willing to share their experiences with the world help make the world a better place, even if most bloggers only consider blogging a hobby."
If you're enrolled full-time in an online school and have a blog (or are willing to start one), why not give it a try? All it takes is your blog URL, some basic personal information, and a 300 word essay. The submission deadline is October 6th.

"Great article! It really helped to get an overview. Thanks!"

"Excellent post. I totally agree that it is the content and presentation skills of the educator that will make or break an online learning event, not the technology."
