Compare Online College Retention Rates

When choosing an online college, it's always a good idea to take a look at the school's retention rates. A high retention rate often reflects student satisfaction, while a low rate is generally a bad sign. Open Education Database explains:
"A college's retention rate reflects the student body's overall interest in what's being offered by the college. This one figure can explain many factors that compose the attractiveness of a college, including the administration's competence, the quality of its teaching staff, the quality of the curriculum, the willingness of its students, and the perceived value of what is being taught."Unfortunately, there still isn't a single place where you can find all online college retention rates compared. However, the Open Education Database is off to a good start with their list comparing several popular online colleges. Check it out to see how your online school compares.
