DeVry expands offerings with networking degree

As interest in online education continues to grow, DeVryUniversity announced it will begin offering two new degree programs inthe growing networking field through DeVry University Online. Abachelor's degree program in network and communications management andan Associate Degreelinks program in network systems administration will beavailable for the September 2005 term.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics' 2002-2012 employmentprojections, networking is the second fastest growing occupation inthe United States, with networking jobs expected to increase by 57percent.

"Networking is in demand because it cuts across every industry,"said Steven P. Riehs, vice president and general manager of DeVryUniversity Online. "Graduates of these programs will be able to tapinto career opportunities that exist in fields such as health care,retail, entertainment, and telecommunications, among many others."
