Don Mohr, a professor of history, was surprised when he found out students were evaluating his performance via the World Wide Web.
Mohr is known for his evaluation day performance, when he humorously " tries his best&lrquo; not to influence the outcome of evaluations by showing students a photo of his son and bribing them with free pencils. He is among 256 UAA professors evaluated on the Web site Ratemyprofessors.com, where students can rate professors on easiness, helpfulness, Clarity
and hotness.
The site has become a craze among college students all over the nation. It is a venue for them to anonymously write about the performance of their instructors.
